I pressure wash mine at least once a month.
I do not leave it running and stay away from the alternators.
Very hot water also.
No issues at all!!
I also have applied NO-OX-ID grease to every single connection and ground so that helps.
Engines a little dirty in the photo.
I don't remember what mine had stamped. I run 60g also.
Where did you buy them?
If eBay then I would have second thoughts as there are a ton of fake items for sale.
If orielys or autozone, etc then I wouldn't worry.
Go and have them pull one and look at it. See what it has stamped.
That...
The 24v voltmeters work perfectly.
You can use the military one or an aftermarket one like ISSPRO or VDO.
The only issue with the military version is lighting. You will have to do something to use existing bulb to light gauge and not the entire underneath of your dash.
Military ones are clear...
Everyone HAS or WILL do this.
Human nature.
Your's just happened to be a really big pain in the a**!
You could have kept quiet and no one else the wiser.

Does it to our tractors and implements all the time.
Even greasing every time the equipment moves will

Run it til it's hot and try again.
If that doest work, taking out the zert and using a small...

Finished tach install today. Just like recommended by OP.
Very easy!! Hardest part was drilling hole to match exact the factory one.
I also moved my voltmeter over. The tach is now readily visible and the VM is just a peek past steering wheel.
Didnt want to get rid of Hobbs meter so made a...
Whatever you chose I recommend the "E" rated tire.
I have Michelins on all my stuff.
Once this set that came with truck is done I will go with Michelin A/T. Have that tire on all my trucks.
The M1008 came with a brand new set of BF Goodrich commercial T/As so it might be a while.
Ah
Was wondering how I could've missed that one at auction.
I'm getting another one or two.
They are the perfect Ranch truck.
Hooked up a bull the other day to the hitch and led him to a different pasture.
Pintle hitch was perfect for that and I didn't have to use a trailer.
Anyway...
Disregard
Just did rough hookup
These settings worked for me [full range]
1) Down
2) Down
3) Up
Very minor tuning and now spot on.
Just like OP said.
Already knew idle rpm from laser reader.
Those parts work for you. That's great! Really
I'm glad they do.
They dont for me. That's my choice and my opinion.
I wasn't bad mouthing anything. Just stating that a cheap part failed and was replaced a good one that's still going.
I will take the hit for installing it in the first place...
