You get what you pay for. It all depends on your wallet and if you don't mind replaceing the same part over and over. Im personally done with cheap parts. Sure.....lifetime warranty. But what do you save if you have to keep replacing same part becaise it doest last as long as a better...

Installed two new acdelco horns ( A note and C note) New relay NOS horn parts in steering wheel and still no horn. Turns out it was the turn signal switch inside the steering column. All checked good with a multimeter but the horn contact button was shorting out in the right conditions...

I would not take the truck with you. At least for now. On something like that, they can seize it until/if things are worked out like mentioned earlier. Take photos or whatever else you need to. Good luck

How much are you wanting to spend? Are you wanting a plow truck that has been "modified" or a true unmolested M1008? With the plow and more importantly a different engine, etc it's not worth, in my opinion, any more than a regular C/K gas truck. It doesn't have really much value as a M1008...
