Put two multifuels into a warehouse and watch them multiply!

That story is here somewhere, just got to find it.

Put two multifuels into a warehouse and watch them multiply!

You'd be surprised how well those would fire up and make power. Shame they vanished.

    Shake down cruise

I've run 1200 for periods at a time. I made sure I didn't go over though. Your fin where your at.

    Latest Update on M725

From what I remember, its a dana 60 front and 70 rear. Yes it has the smaller axle shafts in the front, but its still considered a 60. Good lookin truck and great setting for that 2nd pic!

    Down Deuce

This. Pull the fill plug and see where the level is. Smell the oil, is it gear oil? If so, go to the steps outlined by G in post number 3! I've had it happen more than once in different trucks. Once the level is even with the fill plug, pull the drain plug and drain another 12-16oz. You should...

How to: Fit 395/85R20 tires without rubbing

I think you'd be better off if you were to machine the center off a rim, so you are left with a circle that has the deuce bolt pattern. Then put that on the hub with thimble nuts like on a rear - dualled set up. Then put your stock rim on that with the budd nuts. Now you have a 1/2 inch(I...

    Brake Problems on my M35A2

Just cause fluid flows, doesn't mean it flows freely. How old are the rubber brake lines? I agree contamination would lead to this issue too.

M939 hood on pallet SE Ohio to N Indiana

I can help relay it if someone were going through Cincinnati or Dayton.

I want to use my m35a2 to tow a jeep xj

I wouldn't worry about the height diff since the tow vehicle is so heavy. If its way different, you could put a hitch reciever on the deuce to lower the lunette.

I want to use my m35a2 to tow a jeep xj

Honestly, I'd see about a civy tow bar. No need for the girth of a mil-spec one unless you might tow your deuce with it.

    Shake down cruise

As stated, without a pyrometer, don't turn it up. You could even be doing damage right now and not know it without the gauge.

    M35 fuel filter issues

Once in a while(after opening the fuel system up) you'll need a slight whiff of starting fluid to wake her up. Once she catches, your good to go like normal.

Welcome! Right here is fine for recovery questions. Got any pics of her?

    Broken springs?

The wrecker beams are designed like that for when they are lift towing. Much less suspension travel than on other trucks.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Nope 1100s work great. There is more space between 1100s than 395s!

What did you do to your trailer today.

Don't get me started on tire shop monkeys! I found the cheapest BFG tires at walmart of all places. I had them mount the tires to the rims and install on truck(civy chev). When I got home I wanted to check torque and it was WAY F-ing high. I was ready to go back and raise heck, then decided a...

MEP ground rod kit/slide hammer info

No need to PM me, I'll see what I can find and let you guys know. I just got back from a small vacation(Haspin) and have some fires to put out.

What did you do to your trailer today.

As long as you use the lubed torque spec instead of dry, you should be fine. It is important to know the difference, AND to know anti-seize allows for more consistent torque load.

    Shake down cruise

I don't know that I would say 1200 is a worry area. I've run mine at 1200*(alot) and when I did headgaskets 2 years ago, there was no indication of melty anything. Also, when driving with a heavy load, the transfer-case is synced hi and low. I've been known to start off in low, run through the...
