Official NC Denton Rally 2021 Buy/Sell

. You are my hero! Thanks. Don't know about your personal stash of tanks - but I definitely appreciate you having a few  I am a bit of a pack-rat myself, so extras of everything is always good ! If you happen to have a spare locomotive and some track...

Official NC Denton Rally 2021 Buy/Sell

. I am looking for a 5-Ton M936 air tank. The tank I need is under the driver's step. (wet tank I believe). I rigged it with an aluminum tank that really doesn't fit the space. Would prefer the factory more for fit than anything... The two chamber / split tanks that Floridianson has can be...

    Hello from Pennsylvania

. Yes sir Owen. Start Conversation will get a PM started. The inbound message on your screen will be the "envelope" rather than a "bell". I sent you a quick hello just so you can see how it works.

. Wow Toby... This is looking good! That jack and the safety chain to keep sumpthin goofy from happening is a good deal. .

    Bed modification ideas

Pulling branches out of a pickup truck or small trailer works pretty well with 3 or 4 long ropes. Lay the ropes on the bed of the truck/trailer. To the ground on one end, the other end out over the hood. Load up, then flip the rope over the top of the load. That makes 3 or 4 loops that you...

Looking for a TM for a Skytrak 6000M

Guyfang Didn't need the TM's for a SkyTrac, but I downloaded them anyhow. Seems to me that too many books are never enough. And if I happen to be on a quest for a particular machine - GREP will find it faster than a web search - especially if I don't have a specific name to search for...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Hi Owen. Yes sir, it seems that the more things you have the more projects there are. I went back to re-read about the handle coming off in your hand. No rest I guess, but spring might be coming soon. And then the yard work really goes bonkers! All is well with my crew. Hope yours is...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That's a bummer Owen... I had a few spastic battery problems when I rewired my replacement batteries a few months back. At the time, mine were brand new. The truck would work perfectly, then it would sit for two or three days and not start. MY PROBLEM turned out to be crummy wiring on my...

    MTVR Transmission Dipstick

. Thanks Ellis6 Guess I just got smarter... Now I know I need to know to click on the name when somebody appears to be "new" here. I figured out that you started out here in 2016, WAY long before I got here! Anyhow, I had seen the low numbers of "messages" and ASSuMEd. Sorry sir...

Official NC Denton Rally 2021 Buy/Sell

Now all I need is a M915a2 with a Detroit power plant and an expandable van shop trailer out of Florida - and if I had one - The I might need a few sets of screw jack legs.

Who controls the ads at the bottom of page?

. Curious question... I use a regular browser and almost all the time on my PC. I am not seeing any ads at the bottom of my pages. Wonder if what you are seeing are because of the Ap that you are using? Maybe on your phone? Sample of the bottom of pages that I see is below:

    Air leak/bleed down

. Yeah! There you go! Congratulations. Good deal. Sometimes it isn't scientific. Just a lot of elbow grease - or in this case maybe Dawn, Water and Time. Happy to hear that you found a lot of your leaks. Be sure to spray around the bottom of your air tanks too. Just in case.

    M936 wrecker boom leaking down

I have to agree with Ferroequinologist . Just because you have two New Old Stock (NOS) pieces of hardware doesn't mean there aren't problems with the seals on the lift cylinders. It does seem odd that both of them would fail at the same time immediately after installation though. The...

    First govplanet hmmwv

Well, welcome to the group! Nice green truck and now you won't have any long boring Saturdays :) . I have not been through the EUC pain myself but so long as you don't "watch the clock" it will happen sooner than later. Give it about six months. By the time you have a truck, you should...

    M1061 modifications

. Toby, That nice long tongue will make that trailer really easy to "back". A camera or two on the back would be great. I bought a 4 camera setup and it works - but I learned that looking at specs is pretty important. Bigger screen with higher resolution and high resolution cameras too. Tim

    Oil thin and drippy

. As you said, it is relatively cheap to test the oil, Those testing folks can tell you what is going on without guessing. Unless you plan to do a cross country trip tomorrow, let the truck sit there for a few days and get answers. .

M931A1 Recovery Shreveport, LA to Hannibal, MO on 2021-03-26

. One other thing - since you brought it up (kendelrio actually made me remember) about lighting... Your brake and signal lights are NOT on if your lights are not on. TM (the -10 book suggested earlier) will tell you that. But, before you go crazy trying to figure out why the turn signals...
