The bolt pattern is the same but the neck of that big pintle may hit the horizontal lip of the bumper. Also, the trailer tongue will have to be way up in the air. The stock bumper is also a bit flimsy. I would go with a receiver hitch for about $120.
Saginaw, TX (right north of Fort Worth), is the home of the TXRSMS, or Texas Readiness Sustainment Maintenance Site. They have a web site of sorts. They do for a living what we do for fun: Take in broke trucks, strip them down to the frame, and build them back as new. They have been...
Agreed these are non-mil spec items available anywhere. The pressure switch controls a 3 pole contactor, so the three wires are hot, ground, and power feed to the contactor coil. I think the pressure switch is a Furnas. Good luck!
The ECT's and the B666 Brockway crane trucks had the combat wheels and the 14.00-20 rubber. The hubs are different on these trucks to move the wheels out from the frame. The usual cargo trucks had 9.75-22 skinny rubber. The ECT is very low production, under a few thousand units. The cargo...

Do y'all get the feeling these trailer contracts are a form of corporate welfare? There had to have beeen 20 M105 type trailers made for every truck that could pull one . . .
Most of us have gotten stuck like this . . . once. After an episode like this including the hours of wash rack time you get a little more cautious . . . OK, I'm not far from there and can provide assistance tomorrow afternoon. You will need a snatch block at this point. Let us know if you...
Here 2010 BIG TEX TRAILER for sale in SAN JACINTO, California - EquipmentTraderOnline.com is an ad for a new 2010 Big Tex tagalong w/ 10,000 lb axles priced at $6500. Kinda overpriced.
When you crank it are you mashing on the foot starter switch? If so that is the series-parallel switch. It connects the two 6 volt batteries to 12 volts for the starter, and then when you release the pedal, back to 6 volts for the lights, etc. That old Cummins will need a shot of either to...
