That would be the road draft tube and when fording it is closed off when you pull the fording leaver.
That's why we have to watch long fording or returning the valve to the open position after fording because of the crankcase pressures.
I don't like cracking injector lines or removing the center plug for the head. By just cracking the bleed at the finals or removing the fuel line at the HH and there is fuel there when the in tank is running then something is wrong in the head. Waist more time and can cause more problems than...
I like to hook up the air lines just as the tractor reaches the trailer and apply the trolly so when I back into the trailer to make the hook up to the pin the brakes are applied and it does not roll back.
Do believe your looking at 44k rears in the 939 series. If you wanted 55k and a 60 k GVW then the M920 917 916 truck would have been a better pick. You going to be pushing the safety factor.
Some are going to jump up and down but if and when I do a complete job from wheel cylinders to master I switch to dot 3. Dot 5 is way over priced. I can change out the dot 3 five times a year if I wanted to for the price of dot 5 once.

It's James Rusty and the TM# is CRS as I had to go through 7 of them. I will try and find it again but it might drive me even more over the edge.:lost:
Light reading. Also check the bottom of that thread page for more reading on fording

Something has caused the plunger to stick the first time before the button fell off. I posted a pic of the plunger and a dark coating from ether bad fuel or water and the fuel control collar was sticking pretty good on it. What ever the cause it seems to happen more and more often. I have trucks...
No the plunger never leaves contact with the tappet. The only way to check that a fuel control is sticking is to remove the shut down cover and check for free movement of the control.
If it means anything to you when the cam lobe is up and the plunger is on it's injection stroke would be the...
Just to be correct the thread above post 32 line #2. When the control collar is up it holds the spill port closed longer and we get high RPM. When the control collar is down the spill port is open longer and all the fuel spills out and we get a no fuel or shut down.
