    Take master cyl cap off to make sure you can retract the piston fully by trying c clamp again with system open. The caliper moves back and forth on the pins. Use brake silicone grease to make sure caliper can slide easily.

    I would not use red on caliper bolts as you might have a rough time if you need to go in there again. Maybe blue or yellow ... But I don't use any on caliper bolts. Civy caliper bolts don't need them. Civy calipers don't fall off.... Ymmv

    it is specific to the lmtv/fmtv family with that red/white connector. The other round side fits many flavors of electronics/radios.

    there is ususally a round tag red and silver with ID on the case. have you eyeballed the tag?

    Just curious if you have been able to install that unit in a hmmwv as I see the Solenoid is offset and the clearance is super tight.

    Wilson is a good quality reman specializing in HD. Napa also sells Wilson. Problem is that oreilly unit pictured is not oe hmmwv. Looks like another application maybe cucv?
