If I wasn't traveling this past week, I would have taken advantage of the weather to paint mine too. I'll probably just wait til springtime to do mine. ......
I don't mean for this to be an "I told ya so", but more to help others who are also going down this road to new HMMWV ownership.
It's easy to get excited with a new toy and immediately want to take it for a spin to "try her out" when in reality, this isn't the best course of action. There's no...
I completely agree with the above statement. It's the risk you take with something listed as a "non-runner" and you're expecting an awful lot from a business with essentially a monopoly on military vehicle auctions. IP/GP isn't the used car lot down the road that is competing with 50 other use...

I'd love a set of supplemental armor doors so that I can do it like the truck I had in the Marines. Beggars can't be choosers though and I'm quite happy with the X-doors I have.

Always, huh? I can assure you it very much won't "always" fit. With the Goodyears I'd say it barely fits based on my last haul. My first one had BFG Baja's on it and it definitely did not fit like it was supposed to.
If it was a matter of always adequately fitting, I suppose there'd be a good...
Search for "Humvee" and it's one of 3 items they offer specific to that search term.

They offer it in green, which is the M1035 ambulance top pictured that extends from the windshield to the very rear and...
Just to confirm what you're asking, you have a Hummer H1 wagon (hard top from windshield to very back) and want to know how to turn it into a configuration similar to the mil trucks?
