Just wanted to brag for a second....
My 1970Am Gereral 109 was very lethargic. Found out my lift pump wasnt working, and kept popping fuses, so I went ahead and just bought a new pump. Went to change it, found inside of tank was horrible, so I pulled tank, cleaned out gobs of rust...
Finally got all my brakes done, and a new bed floor put in it, and one water tank in it. Truck did great, didn't have tank secured well enough, slid over about a foot and nearly broke the valve! Anyways, I secured the tank better now with cleats on the floor against the tank. Now I'm on to...
I just saw your reply, don't know why I didn't sooner. Anyways, thanks for the pics, and I got it all back together good, just still haven't done boots.

So I was successful with changing my rear brakes, wheel cylinders, and bearings. I get to the front, had a fun time getting inner wheel bearing apart (in peices). See attached photo.
Anyhow, my new inner bearing seems just slightly too small, and doesn't quite want to slide onto...
I checked out the TM'S, either I'm not looking in the right place, or there's just not much info. I found an exploded diagram, and that's about it. I did find a pretty good YouTube video on adjusting the brake shoes, though.
