    MEP 003 replacement panels

Yeah probably right but I bought 3 of them off govliq a month ago and wanted to fix'em up right. I plan on using one of them as a main generator for my rural property and it would just bug me everytime i use it :D. I was thinking of making an insert myself but didn't want to go through the...

    MEP 003 replacement panels

does anyone offer replacement instrument panels for these generators? I picked up a few and the anodized panels are sunbleached to the point they are pretty much illegible. I figure someone must make stickers, inserts or replacement panels as it seems most of the gens up at govliq had the same...

LVS MK48 anybody on here get one today?

What's a Mk48 classified as? Is it a 2 axle truck with another 2 axle trailer or a 4 axle vehicle? I only ask cause it seems CA law says anything above 2 axles requires a special license. So Duece is out unless it's bobbed, but if this is a 2 axle truck with a 2 axle trailer......:D

    Gichner Shelter Systems Nonexpandable Shelter

Here's a link to pics on how i set mine up if you haven't started the inside yet. I like them but like others have said, they're a bit heavy for camper boxes and a bit small for my use (two adults two kids) which is why mine's for sale. The S-250s fit in the bed of a M101A3(the newer version...

Registering Dueces in CA - questions.

Thanks for the link, i just read all 12 pages and got a lot of info. Basically figured out I can't drive a 3 axle duece without a class B license. I don't want to have to go there so now i'm focused on the options for a bobbed duece. I think a commercially registered duece should be able to be...

Registering Dueces in CA - questions.

Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying a M35A3. I heard that M35's can be registered as historic vehicles in CA to avoid weight fees and commercial vehicle issues, but i don't know if that applies to M35A3's since i think they're 1993 vehicles. Anyone know what my options in CA are? Thanks

    Fuel-burning heater problems

Here's a pic of the truck and trailer and one of the toolboxes i think it might fit into. I was thinking i could install a secondary duct hose that i could run to the trailer (once parked of course) for coldweather camping. again any info on this heater would be appreciated.

    Fuel-burning heater problems

I'm looking for an inexpensive diesel heater to install into my Hummer as a cab heater and an aux heater for the shelter i tow behind it and came across a SouthWind model 10530A24 for sale online. There's no other info on it besides that it's...

Advice for someone looking to paint or get his truck painted

Howdy all, I've got a H1, M101A3 and S250 shelter setup that i'm looking to get painted to match in either flat tan or desert camo. I'm trying to decide if i should try to paint everything myself or just try to find some local person that fixes up dueces or something to do it for me? What's a...

    ASK up-armored doors

+1, unless you're going to go aluminum for looks, then i say do it if you like it. but steel turns the HMMWV into something it was not designed to be (a slow-er crappy tank).

    Front Exhaust on HMMWVs?

I was told that some early HMMWVs were produced with front exhausts that exited by the intake? is that true? Does anyone have any pics or links to this? I ran a quick search on google and came up with nothing.

Anyone know of any Surplus/salvage yards that have S-250 shelters anywhere in central or southern CA? If you know of a salvage yard with one in the area, a tip in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks
