    Bad Starter, Again

Personal experiance, Clean and check the engine ground connection, clean and check the battery cable connections, make sure your starter has it's heat shield and above all carry-out the Doghead relay modification. If you can unplug the starter relay it is not the Doghead mod. Also, a bad...

has anyone bought an m1009 from here?

I purchased an M1009 from Motorsource Inc. this last April. Very happy with the service, Jeff was a straight-shooter and they personally own and use CUCVs. They state that all the CUCVs they sell are from Southern Nevada, Kalifornia and Arizona. The M1009 I purchased from them was/is super...

    starter question

If you purchased and are using the relay specified in the "Doghead Relay Mod." the relay is most likely fine if it's brand new......(just my $.02). I have had similar starter issues since I purchased my M1009 two months ago. I have done the Doghead relay mod. As well as replaced my headlight...

best way to add a 12 volt winch?

Winch Mount It's gonna be about two weeks before I can get to a point to mount my winch. I am going with Class IV Hitches front and back. Also going to weld a receiver in the bed of the cargo area so I can lock the winch in place when its not being used. I will post photos of everything after...

best way to add a 12 volt winch?

Good question Gunwriter. I have a WARN 9000 lb. winch a friend gave me that I also was wondering the best way to wire up. From the research I have done I figure I will just wire it to the #1 battery and keep an eye on it's charge as compared to the #2 battery. Steve
