    Bb's in tires?

I bought a set of 38" Ground Hawg tires a few years back. Each tire had about a hand full of steel BB's (BB gun ammo)inside, and let me tell you, it was such a mess when I had to take the tires off the rims. There was handfulls of super fine powdered rust inside each of them, along with the...

    Food grade 90wt. gear oil

I figure I'll use it one way or another, as diff oil, burn it what ever. It's in the shop, so time will tell. I did find out how much it cost to buy....OUTCH!!! Mine is just Mineral oil based ($49.00 a gallon), and the synthetic stuff is twice as much $$$...

    Food grade 90wt. gear oil

Well, I ended up picking up the 55gal. drum of gear oil after all. It is in fact mineral based oil. It's un-opened with the seal caps still on it. I did have one minor hiccup with the endeavor though. When we got it back to my place, unloading it, we slipped on the ice/snow and down it went off...

    Food grade 90wt. gear oil

When it was offered, I looked it over, seen it was unopened and it said on the sticker/tag "FOOD GRADE 90 wt. Gear oil" in big letters with a bunch of smaller writings under it, along with the MSDS symbols. I was thinking cheap fuel, so I then came here and asked if it would be good to run in a...

    Food grade 90wt. gear oil

I have a chance to get an unopened 55 gallon drum of food grade 90wt gear oil, cheap. I have no idea how old it is (looks like it's been sitting for quite some time, in a warehouse and have no information in it's age) How would this be mixed/cut with diesel for fuel? Does it degrade with age or...

Question about mounting m105 frame on bobbed deuce

That's what I did with mine. I left the M105 frame mounted under the box for a little more clearance for bigger tires, and I can turn it into a dumper easy enough with the frame structure there.

    M105 landing gear question

My M105 trailer has the landing gear with the large diameter wheel. I see others have the same trailer, but have instead of the large fixed wheel, there is a two wheel telescoping jack in it's place attached to the drop down gear. How much does this type landing gear setup extend/raise?

    TachOmeter not working

What is the proper route for the tach cable to be placed on an M35a2? I have three trucks, and of course, all three cables/trucks are routed differently. At the front of the engine where the cable connects to the 90 deg. drive, the first truck (#1) has the cable going just straight up then...

    TachOmeter not working

Ok, here it is.... Both tachs that I used, I'd guess 1/4" of the drive cable tip broke off in them. That's why I couldn't see the square (female) drive down in the round hole in back of the input. So when I used them, the square drive would just spin, never engaging the drive, because the cable...

    TachOmeter not working

The tach quit working in my truck last fall right, before I put it away for the winter season. I assumed it was the tach drive cable. I'm just taking it out now, and getting it ready for the up coming Memorial day parade and wanted to fix it before then. I pulled the (assumed) broken cable to...

Deuce stranded me/wife on the Highway

(UPDATE) Truck is now home and parked in the barn once again. Weather is suppose to be turning (single digit cold, snow/rain) tomorrow, so just in time. Thank you everyone, for the help I needed to make this happen. I ended up using a used stock lift pump. Installed it, let it prime the...

Deuce stranded me/wife on the Highway

I was driving down the road, and a red light was up ahead. I pushed in the clutch to start slowing down, and the engine died. Hit the starter a couple times while I was coasting, but nothing happened. Coasted to the shoulder of the road (either in natural or with the clutch push it...don't...
