I had re-enforced my bows a little so I thought they would be fine for the winter. That and I got lazy/preoccupied/etc. Well, Winter started off really mild, but we had a few surprises. Got those two brand new, great BIG, HEAVY 8D batteries squeezed into the battery boxes! Thank god for the engine crane! She cranks over with a quickness now. Now to get to work on the bows and tarp, and to figure out how I'm going to install a power outlet for Cell Phone and GPS charging duties...- cx65083

What did you do to your deuce this week?
I didn't make it Outside to "DO" anything with my 5 ton today... Too dang cold out! (currently -12 plus windchill) But I did get a good look out the window where she's parked. -
Show your 5 tons in the snow.
Got out and shoveled her off, then put the brand new twin set of 8D's to work cranking her over. 1700cranking amps (1400CC's @0 degrees) kick butt! Had her fired up in short order.- cx65083

RoadKill.....It's whats for supper! Hit a deer with my little truck. Used the tire crane on my Big truck to dress it out. He was just a lil nubber. We ate the tenders and the heart that night. Mmmmmmm.- cx65083

I tried hooking my lil Deuce behind my M813a1 to tow to a show. Even after extending the tow bar ALL the way, the poor thing would try taking off in ANY direction except straight. At one point she went from lock to lock in 20 feet very rapidly. I didn't make it 100 feet down the road. I did have... -

Getting ready for Iola! Muscled the medium tow bar into place and hooked up to tow the '56 M35A2 Deuce to Iola, WI behind my M813A1. I really could have used a "Soldier B"! Will get it hooked and chained tomorrow and go for a "test tow" around the block. Still have to figure what I'm doing for...
