    M172a1 trailer wheel cover plates

Ndt thanks for the reply about still being able to change tire with plates in place . I recently saw a m172a1 that sold on GL that had plates welded in place by the Army. I think i will try it but weld them where the welds can be cut if i need to remove them later.

    M172a1 trailer wheel cover plates

I have a m172a1 trailer and need to know if there is any reason i should not weld the wheel cover plates in place. Would it interfear with removing the wheel/tire ? Trailer used on paved roads only so wheel travel not a problem. Plates just to heavy to put in and take off every time .

    Will a 4" front sping level out a M1028?

I installed a Rancho 4 inch lift on my M1009 whose front springs were sagging pretty badly. I would say it sat about 2 inches low in the front. With the front springs and the rear blocks it now sits level . Your truck may be different , but I would guess it will ride high in the front without...

xm818 started, ran great... then ... wont start!!! WT@#$#@

If when you shut truck down the last time ,you used the manual fuel shut off (T shaped handle on right side of steering wheel ) You will have to go under the hood and reset it by traceing the cable to the shut off and pushing it back toward radiator. It does not reset automaticly

The quick and cheap way to gain more power is to change the "Button" in the pump . The button (dont know technical name ) changes the fuel pressure .
