Hey friends,
This isn't strictly MV related but you guys always have all the answers and if you help me out I promise I'll use it to work on my CUCV first, haha.
I want a Mig welder (with a spoolgun option) for my home shop. I have 240 volt single phase power. I used to use a Lincoln PowerMig...
I promise I tried the search first. For almost an hour.
I'm replacing the 3 rubber brake lines on my M1009 (one for each front wheel, one for the rear diff) because they are 25 years old and look like they're gonna pop any minute. I'd like to get slightly longer ones than stock - so that I...
I've been on this forum for a while now, and it's great. I have received tons of help from knowledgeable, friendly people. I try to make a regular habit of going on and answering other members questions as best I can. But I want to take "giving back" to another level. I've started this thread to...

Hey guys,
I've looked all over the site (so I think.. I'm computer stupid) and I couldn't find anything too specific about multiple block heaters.
Here's the deal:
I have an '86 M1009 with a stock 6.2. I put in a 600 watt freeze plug heater last year, it works great until it gets stupid cold...
Hey Guys,
So, I've had my truck a while.. close to a year. And I'm starting to miss a few things.. like a radio, interior lights, a buzzer for the head lights to tell me not to leave them on, etc. Will post all things learned the hard way for your enjoyment ;-)
I'm fairly electrically handy...
Hey guys! Thanks a ton for the warm welcome! I guess I'm not really a new member because I signed up quite a while ago, but this is my first post. I guess I oughta share a bit about myself and my truck.
As my name implies, my truck is red. It was leased to a fire department Marionville...
