Im sorry to hear that you're getting out of the hobby and I'd hate to see such a fine truck go to scrap. I'd be ecstatic to bring it down to Tijeras

Welcome from Tijeras NM. Very clean truck, it also looks familiar based on the bed mounted crane

If only you were closer, I'd likely take all those parts off your hands to use for the M37 I recovered earlier this year. PM sent.

Aerodrome Tower Light Signal Reference Decal

I haven't been able to find that exact decal, however a quick search for "ATC Light Gun Signals Sticker" in Google yields several similar options. The picture I provided is from a local M35A2 that I've had my eye on. If it ends up in my yard I'm sure we can figure out making a repro decal for you

Aerodrome Tower Light Signal Reference Decal

Was it similar to this? Unfortunately I don't have a better picture for you at the moment.

    M35a2 keeps blowing headlight

If a new bulb, or swapping bulbs, shows no change I would measure the resistance of the headlight circuit for both sides and compare. High resistance can cause weird diagnostic headaches

7 Goodyear MVTs Albany, GA to Tijeras, NM

Thank you for the information Wes. I almost can't believe current freight costs are so high. FedEx wanted close to $4k AFTER the "60% discount"

7 Goodyear MVTs Albany, GA to Tijeras, NM

All, Looking for anyone along the SS Express who might be able to help move 7 Goodyear MVTs from Albany GA to Tijeras NM or close. I was looking at shipping with Fastenal but their local location in Albany apparently doesn't deal with freight shipments. Any advice welcome! Thanks in advance

    M51 Dump Bed Operation?

You might try giving them a call or email to confirm the freight cost. Oshkosh shipped my tailgate to the nearest freight terminal (FedEx) for $345.

New to me M936 drive/transmission issues

As mentioned in the thread that Wes linked, I would verify that all of your linkages are adjusted correctly. Actually there are several posts in that thread that may relate and are worth checking in to. You mentioned your M936 stalls in drive. Does it stall in reverse as well?

Regarding the short VIN I had no issues completing the title transfer, however my registration was suspended several months later because Progressive Commercial added several zeros to the end of the VIN. Apparently Progressive's system won't allow VINs that are less than 17 digits to be entered...

Best source for Torque Rod Ends?

    I noticed that as well

Best source for Torque Rod Ends?

The big auction site. 12 ends for $648 + shipping. Search for item 174544279922. Seems like a good deal, but I'd rather not buy cheap parts that don't last as long. Only thing worse is buying expensive parts that don't last as long
