I will have to get it wired into the house but so far this is what I am trying to accomplish correct? And I shouldn’t need to have a load on both legs now right?
The way it's wired now is consistent with your average residential utility so you don't have to worry about a massive unbalanced damaging the head because you won't have that third leg to worry about being at 0 amps

Thats a clean looking gen set. If you only knew how many thousands of hours I have worked on them. I can hear it start right now.
Well can you tell me if the battle short is supposed to stay on for it to run bc it will not run with it off unless I hold the start switch up

If you're having to hold the start switch up to keep it running there is a safety switch not being made probably oil pressure

Did it do that before the modification?

Rough math you'll need about four to five to get it to 110% load
It has done that since I’ve got it about 3 weeks ago figured it was normal until I saw it in different videos. And the percent power gauge what is the blue line for on 80% and a red line on 100% the hertz gauge is the same way blue on 50hz red on 60hz

The colors on the gauge is correspond to the maximums for the different frequencies this set was designed to be used on both American and European equipment that require different frequencies so if you're running at 60 hertz the maximum Mark is the red mark on the percentage meter if you're running 50 hertz which you should never do over here then the maximum is the blue mark

Now for your battle short problem we're going to have to go back through the schematics and find the control circuitry that the battle short bypasses and find out which one of those contacts is not being made allowing the run contactor to be held in

I try my best to read schematics but I can’t it’s too much going on so I leave it to professionals and smart ppl

The 006A TB1 should be set up like the 004 and 005A TB1's .

Scooby, the schematics are in the TM section, or I can send you the ones I extracted from the TM.
@mwhiddon look at this messgae,
@Scoobyshep you ruined our evening

I aim to please.

there is so much back and fourth on ratings,

I have loaded a zig zag 004 to 110% without issue, reguardless, hes so massively oversized i doubt he will max this thing

Before you test all those sensors etc.
Push the reset button on the S9 speed switch on side of engine.
They trip sometimes during transport of Genset.
The speed switch has centrifuge switch for over speed and it can be reset pressing the reset button

I’ve looked for that button I can’t find it and the manuals picture is to dark to tell
