Spent some time in the cab fixing the door handles and latches and aligning the doors, I now have two functioning doors that open from outside and in

When it rains it pours--today I finally moved her into the driveway-As I was backing up, the air warning came on and pressure dropped when I stepped on the brake--more to fix

So upon further inspection-I had air coming from relay valve which goes to the rear glad hand. I drove her up the road, and my problem seems to have cured itsself..

The 1st shake down run was a success, back road and even a short 5 mile run on I81 at 60+MPH. She seems to run well, still a little hard shift.. We will do another transmission relearn again on thursday when we head to the woods. of note: it really is amazing how much force is applied to the contents of the box, just dropping off the curb and lateral force. Newton is alive and working

I am having to relook tiedown points. Thankfully I BOLTED to the wall/floor with RIVNUTS

Reis worked flawlessly. Cold temps 0 degrees celcius reared a shortfall in my heat exchanger water flow map..had a frozen feed line to instant hot water heater..3 minutes with a propane torch set on low in the cabinet and she was running again

Some random shots

Got a little stuck ahyyy?
Yup, down to the axles, driver side tires with very little ground pressure. thankfully one of the local cattle ranchers/loggers had a big 4x4 tractor, a quick run down the trail and we secured permission to use it.

Resized_20201112_084835.jpgResized_20201112_084947.jpg

It was my fault, I should have read the trail conditions more accurately. You can see the creek drain to the right of the holes. It had undermined the trail and was covered by leaves. Thats what I get for trying to go around trees after a downpour, it was like quick sand. no pics of the stuck, but pics after the pull out coming. Those 395.s make some big holes.

I spent some time with a shovel smoothing the damage out on private property. The owner didnt expect it. And was very happy with my repairs. Even went so far to pull creek stone and line the trail tread lines. I will be back up weeks end and will snap some pics

Sorry to hear you went thru that. Can empathize. Been there sunk that. alll to axles too.... w/rear locker.....
had to drive it out.... nothing to pull it..... foot on brake..... gun it spool turbo then foot off break... move a few inches... back up..... go again.. plus logs, brick, anything else I could find to throw in the holes. took hours.

Oh..I tried to drive it out. But once it got to fuel tank. Propane tank and axles..she was done..pass tires hanging in the air and driver side tires very little traction..plus with the box..off center was worrisome..in the end no damage to truck..just my pride

yikes.... I got only to axles.... you got deeeeep....... and tire in air spinning being an issue I'm guessing means you did not get a locker when ya did gear swap did you? Bet your thinking different on that now lol.

looking forward to Ronmar toying with something to individually lock/modulate a wheel brake thus creating a psuedo locker . Would be great for front axle.

Today I am looking at CTIS...here is what I have.

Ctis cycles. Initial pressure blow with mode selection. It continues this cycle. Then I get 5 flashing lights.

Wheel valve problem what do you think. Or leak

Sorry been out in the woods using Reis and the beast to hunt..I have put over 800 miles on her..

A couple notes

No go over 52..pretty good shake..appears to be tire related. Simp. Be hitting you up for 2 each..

Hi beams sometimes wont go to high..seems to be relay related..

Brakes need a little work..slight pull left when hard braking

Ctis. Needs to function IAW TM

Horn inop

Other then that..flawless..the habitat worked extremely well..heat and solar..although I could use 2 more panels and at least 2 more house batteries..on those days you just dont get enough sun..she worked..

Water and heat exchanger. Worked better then I expected great match on motor and flow. The cold highlighted the need to reroute warm water flow from heater exchanger through Instant on hot water heater. Had a cold night and had to hang a propane torch in the exterior box where the instant on hot water heater is mounted to thow it out.

One early morning (3am) after sitting for a few days, temps were around -4C, pushed the starter button she came to life-although a little hesitant. the cat purs.

Having a Porclin God and shower..its plan nice..

Most of all..my hunting partner..who is 76 and had a stroke a few years ago and was still tent camping last year..has a new lease and a new word..Glamping was never so good

Wants..cab upgrades..but not moving away from military minded..no seat upgrades..maybe refresh..

Top to bottom service

Haldex rebuild

LEDs all the way around

Reis turns out to be a diamond in the rough and a tribute to single part of a former life and a new life thanks to steel soldiers..

Once a Soldier always a Steel Soldier..Hooah

Doesnt mean I am not brain wasted..it was kind of commical, had like 6 DMV techs ogeling over the paperwork.

I want to thank my fellow Va MV owners/addicts for all the great information. An item as simple as SS for make was money. I believe being prepared, having all the paperwork and showing graditude for the work they are doing in this case, expidited the process. They didnt even question the less than 17 digit vin.

Oh I posted a for sale interior/HVAC module LMTV
