The HH is the hydraulic head. It's the pc on the injection pump where the injectoin lines attach. You can see it my earlier picture, it has red plastic caps still installed.

I'm sure it came from the fuel tank. No other way it could get in there as far as I know. I don't think Mike drove this truck a whole lot and diesel tends to collect water over time. I really should have drained the tank before I drove it home, probably would have eliminated the need for a new pump. But as I posted earlier, this pump had been tinkered with quite a few years ago and I didn't feel comfortable leaving it on there. I think it was a good investment, and it was actually a pretty fun project.
