Camping and being cold should not be in the same sentence! Your doing it wrong!
I camped at Rausch Creek for a few days in the blizzard of 2010. Slept in the back of my m35. 10° overnight.

frantik one more wake up and you are east bound and down. Good Luck on your journey east. Anyone else coming you still have time to get your truck ready. Run what you brung. We used to have a demo derby and we called it run what you brung. It was great fun. We did it in the woods also. We ran cars and trucks on trails. Helped each other out or just ran the vehicles until they would not go no more. that was fun also. We did not intentionally destroy each other but we would go on harder and harder trails until everyone was out and one vehicle was left running. We would put $5-$10. in the kitty on each challenge. At the end the winner took the full kitty. I had access to a lot of vehicles and we tried to keep them as close to the same as possible. Corsicas and Cavaliers were some of the best cars I remember. I thought about bringing up a car and chaining it to 2 - 5 tons volunteer trucks and watching the action. Sounds like fun. But that's an opinion thing. I will be loading the scrap wood on the trailer and getting ready tomorrow evening. See you all soon. Drive safely.

DSCF6548.jpgDSCF6549.jpgDSCF6550.jpgDSCF6551.jpgDSCF6552.jpgI have my trailer loaded with wood and mud flaps. Does anyone want anything else? I think I have the firewood part covered. I will just need some help to unload it. Does anyone have a saw? This wood is dry and will burn hot. i think that is all that counts. I loaded 30 pairs of mudflaps. i do not want to take any of this material home with me. just the Crown of Thorns and the empty trailer. Will I have helpers to unload this wood at about 530-600 PM tomorrow? I will throw on the mag HMMWV run flat.

Off topic but figure this might be a good audience for this request. Anyone have any used civilian backpacking packs they want to part with or sell? I might have some older kids that are coming and could make some use out of them.

Other than that, drive safe and pack warm if your camping out with the rest of us men!

Rise and shine!!! We're leaving the surprisingly quiet Barkeysville, PA. (Ha!) Headed to Danville to get some brews and grub at the Old Forge Brewery for lunch. Fun, fun!!
