I got my donaldson muffler on the truck yesterday. What a difference that made!

I got my new alt on the deuce today. It's nice to be charging again!

I made a remote reservoir for my master cylinder from a Honda clutch reservoir. Now I can easily check the fluid level daily.

I've been considering a muffler for some time. Can you describe how much it reduced the exhaust sound volume?

I would say it brought the noise level down about 50% or so. I drive my deuce every day and now it's so much nicer to drive.

I would not say 50%, but you can at least hear yourself think, carry one some type of conversation with a passenger, but everyone still knows you're coming; nothing stealth about it! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Excellent build. Can you give me more info on the Donaldson muffler, what part # etc.I bought one from #s off of here from NAPA and it is easily twice as long as the Donaldson you have.

I'm pretty sure the muffler is a donaldson m070028 the exhaust is 3.5"

No I haven't painted it yet. I think I'm going to wait till spring and then blast and paint it. I've been working on getting it ready for winter. Now I have heat and I got my A3 wipers in. I have put over 3000 miles on it in the last two months now it's nice to have working wipers in the rain!

Nice. I want one. Full led conversion would be sweet. They also make self contained 12& 24vdc aircraft a/c units if u are interested.

I might put on A/C next year but I think i'll wait to do the 5.9 cummins swap that way I don't have to make all of the brackets. I am going to put on power steering this winter.

No brackets for this unit. Its all electric. Not engine driven. I dont want anything robbing power from the engine so ive been exploring alternatives

Sam you should post some info on what you find. I'm sure a lot of people would like a/c if it can be done for cheap.

So not cheap. $3500-5000 depending on voltage/btu. Fits a niche but pricey. I would think that pulling hills with an engine driven a/c would really strain the engine but thats just my opinion brother. I dont remember the company name but found it while searching 24v a/c. Its in Mesa,Az
