No matter how many times I click on my notification that my premium membership is going to expire, it still says that I have a new notification.
I'm trying to cater to everyone here (impossible). I had complaints from people not knowing about their membership expiring. So I installed a plugin to alert members of it. Unfortunately it's an "all or nothing" alert.

This Is a thread that Patracy created for the sole purpose of talking about problems with the new site. I posted a problem that I was having and he replied with a smart ass answer. I will not edit my post.

Very funny....dickhead.
Dickhead? There wasn't anything meant to be smartass in my reply as it is a technical term/process.

In the event I was to make an inflammatory comment, it'd certainly be a direct one leaving no question to it's validity.

I'll admit I didn't like the change (at first), but this is not my call. After a week of looking around things are getting better for me. You don't need to please everyone Patracy, just do the right thing for the site.

It takes a big man to explain an issue after being insulted rather than just making the problem "go away" as could so easily happen.

Patracy was not being a smart ass. A persistent notification is indeed a technical term. You owe him an apology. Now we will see what type of person you are.

Upgrades are taking some time to get used to, just like on Facebook.

But calling the guy that worked on them and is still tweaking the changes a name? Sorry, that's lame.

Just my .02

And before the uproar escalates, he's right, he doesn't owe me anything. And there's no need for people to comment about it. Just chalk it up to emotion not conveying over text.

I agree...as the guru of the site you should make sure we know all the technical terms or that you fully explain each term when you post said term so that the term does not make us think you are intentionaly using terms that make us think you are using terms that make us feel like we don't know the term and are obligated to call you names for using the term.
That way when we make totally childish statements and engage in moronic name calling we don't look so bad in the short term.

It is much easier to call names than to understand terms or ask for clarification of a term we do not understand and then refuse to admit that we did not understand the term...in the short term.

Of course the term "emotion not conveying over text" could be termed a term of endearment...or not....in the long term.

All the above should be termed "observations" and not comments.

I like the upgrade, no more dark on dark. The tweaks have made the foru easier than before.

Thanks for the hard work patracy and all the rest.
