Can you help with Navy gear?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
The link is not working. Is there another place to find this information? This should help in the ID. Thanks very much to Durango for the help, and M1009newbie for putting this thread together. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/130588468/usmc-nehca-groups Scroll down about 1/3 of the way until you get to the colored portion of the spreadsheet. Unit names and MXXXXX numbers are there.. The first MXXXXX (UIC) number corresponds to the unit. The next MXXXXX number is the parent unit.
Yep it does. FB2805 is the DODAAC. 4021 is the 21st day of 2014 as the date they executed the turn in document but keep in mind they may not have moved it to DRMO for days, weeks or months. 5000 would lead me to believe that 5 is what this particular organization uses for property. 000 is the very first transaction. I think I put 001.Carnac

Did you receive the RUC code and UIC needed? Let me know and if not, Ill get it for you later tonight.ALoha. I cant remember the RUC code for 4th force Recon, Kaneohe bay 1999. Any way for a M-number? Im marking a HMMWV...
If you were a Marine vet, you would have spelled it Marine! It does not have an m in front of it. I'm an Air Force vet not a marine so I have no idea what that means so I'm going to have to google it. Haha. Thank you for the info.
Is the six digit "tracking number" the same as the six digit registration number on the data plate? I just acquired an M1010 that has what I believe is a USMC registration number (534XXX, definitely not Army, AF, or USN) on the data plate. It's been re-painted white, so if said M1010 had the UIC/RUC number painted on, where would it most likely be, on the rear doors or bumper, and front hood or bumper?Mac- The USMC 533585 is the tracking number assigned by the unit and the 53 designates the vehicle type/category. Most CUCV trucks were 52, 53 or 54 depending on size and type. My M1009 is 53. the numbers after 53 are just unit tracking numbers and they are just inventory numbers that each commander set up. So, that is the number you should keep, as it is probably correct for when it was used.
