I need an illustrated parts breakdown of the IP on a multifuel,1972... I have something binding in the throttle shaft inside the IP causing to stick..

Need small IP partss, truck down.. :-(

In need of the parts. Talked to Memphis Eqip. and they said to replace the pump. Pump works fine, just something inside the throttle shaft linkage is causing it to stick. Note: I disconnected it completely and has to be moved from open/close throttle with some type of unnecessary force..

Need small IP partss, truck down.. :-(

I need the spring and associated parts that help return the throttle to off position. Contacted Memphis Equipment and I'm told they are not available. The location of the parts is where the linkage shaft enters the IP. I understand there is a spring in there and other parts. These parst can come...

    Throttle stuck

Went to start the M35 and the throttle was sticking and the pedal had to be pulled up by hand. I disconnected the linkage from the lever on the IP and tried to move that lever and it is extremely hard to move back and forth. What is causing it? The throttle linkage itself moves freely when...

I'm trying to find someone who has the hose the runs from the firewall inside the cab to the switch that switches to front wheel drive. The one I that is on the truck is leaking. New/OE if possible. Chuck

    Loss of Power?

:funny: No, but I did rotate the air in the tires, checked the muffler bearings, blinker fluid is full and the kunutter valve operates as it should.

    Loss of Power?

Yes FDC has been bypassed. I said that it would start slowing down after 60 minutes or so but on the highway about 60 miles.:-? If it's flat driving and slightly cool outside (under 60*) it will run at 2500 RPM/55 MPH but as soon as I hit an incline/large overpass the best is 2200-2000 and 40...

    Loss of Power?

Temp is good, oil preasure within limits. Funny that is was suggested about the wheel bearings because I changed out a rear seal this weekend. Could air be getting around to the fluid side of the airpack. I just bled the brakes last year with no change to the issue I am having? It will turn full...

    Loss of Power?

No, it was picked up a couple of years ago. But it runs like a scalded dog and then the power starts to taper off after about 60 miles of highway driving.

    Loss of Power?

After about 60 or so miles of driving my M35A2, with D engine and C turbo, has a hard time maintaining and getting to top speed. Hubs feel warm and not hot. Starts and runs fine from cold start. It also struggles on the smallest incline.

    Offer to help

I live in Fort Worth and are looking for fellow SS members that may need a second person to help work on thier M1009 or M1008. I am going to buy one in the near future and I am looking to get some "hands on" before I do. I can only help on the weekends and bring a strong mechanical aptitude. No...

M1009 V-8 with nine GP wires?

It had a spade connector that matched all the othe GP connectors. Now that I think a bout it one of the glow plug wires that was connected had a larger, plastic connector on it. Might have had a new wire spliced in to accomidate a larger GP end. The truck was pretty rough and I don't know if...

M1009 V-8 with nine GP wires?

Went and previewed a 1009 and while looking at the drivers side engine bank noticed that all the glow plug wires were plugged in but there was a spare. I gave it a slight pull and it felt connected somewhere inside the harness but not connected to a glow plug.:cookoo:
