I was just under my truck this afternoon looking at it. I Know for a fact that the plugs are blocked by the mounts. as a side note just because the mounts are in the same location for both motors does not mean the drain plugs are. and a 6.2 diesel are a different beast than a big block gas...
looking to do the same thing to my truck and looking at them they are both blocked by the motor mounts. anything short of pulling the motor and/or pulling the motor up and disconnecting the motor mounts.?
Yes I do. that was the 1st thing I checked. but thanks for thinking of that. and I dont have a welder here local that I know. I have always been a fan of jbweld but we used it on the farm mostly so didnt know if it could somehow put some Contamination in the oil. but thanks for the advice. think...
My oil pan is leaking from where what looks like the front axle nit the bottom of it. Its not a bad leak but I hate staining up my driveway. My question to you guys is I called NAPA and they told me to get a new steel one would be 149.00 plus tax. does that sound right? also is there a good...
Pulled the Bumper and brush guard. going to sand down and repaint them as I was getting some rust where the medals rubbed the paint off. Thinking of adding a winch mount now while i have it off and making it look all pretty!rofl

LMC truck will have it. the website is Truck Parts and Truck Accessories for Chevy, GMC, Ford and Dodge Trucks from LMCTruck.com. they are a little overpriced I think but if you have tried other places they should have it.
I don't have a wait light eater on mine. mine is based on the feel of how cold it is. if i am cold then my truck is cold. i would hold mine for about 15-20 when its cold like cfish said and as it gets warmer the shorter i hold it.
