I don't know if you really could. Power needs to flow in both directions through the light bulbs. It really is part of the charging system and not just a dummy light. Just add s 12v gauge next to the stock one. That is what i did.

Yeah 100% wrong. There is no valve in the pump like that. What you are describing is a accelerator pump that is inside of the carburetor. A diesel engine does not have a carburetor or an accelerator pump.

You are still able to get jumped with the nato plug.

Have you inspected your glow plugs? Are some burnt out? Are the batteries in good shape? I would start there and also replace the Glow plug temp sender on the rear of the drive side head.

Dasie chain effect on the glow plugs that is why some bypass it.

I did not drop my T case. I used 4* shims in the front. no issues at all.

This is what I did to fi my headlight issue. I cut the diodes out of the horn circuit and took apart the fuse block and cut the power wire and feed wires for the headlights. Then put In a 30 amp breaker. No problems anymore. Took about 10 min start to finish.
