The proper proceedure is to have the truck turned off and power turned off. Unplug wait a few moments and then plug it back in and power the truck up in the proper manner (your waiting for the ABS light and the double clicks correct?)
Stopped over at my storage lot and played with a new toy. (It's a DJI Phantom 4 Drone)

Tomorrow have a few small things to get done on the M925 so it will be ready for the following weekend's big car/truck show called the Sounds Of Freedom where I'm letting Gunzy...
I did mine by myself on the M925a2. I basically slid the top onto the hood and then basically tilted it over the windshield and into place. All in all about 2 hours start to finish (I used an air ratchet with 4" extension when bolting down the hardtop). If using a manual ratchet add another...
In the M934 trucks the breakout would be
M934 - NHC 250 motor with Dual rear wheels & tires - This is what you have
M934a1 - NHC 250 motor with Super Single tires
M934a2 - 8.3 6CTA turbo motor with Super Single tires & CTIS
Also NONE of the M939 series trucks came with ABS when first issued. ABS is a MWO (Modification Work Order) retrofit that was supposed to be done.
See attached PDF of the MWO
With the NHC 250 motor and no CTIS and does not have Super Singles then you have what is quite often called an A0 truck.
Is the truck your asking about the one in your avatar?
Edit never-mind I found where you said it's a M934 Expansible. and that is what you have. It is NOT an A-2 as the...
Yep the 8.3 (a2 model trucks) have the turbo motors which have poor bottom end grunt UNTIL the turbo spools up where as the naturally aspirated NHC motor produces grunt via 14 liters of torque without needing the extra engine rpms to spin up a turbo to get the power.
It is widely known that the...
I've run Delo 400 for years in our gens & tractors at our ranch. (we buy it by the drum there at the local Chevron bulk plant). I usually use Mobil or Shell here at home for my Gen & M923a2 & M925a2 as I pick it up when it's on sale in the 5 gallon buckets.
My 2cents ..........The exception to the rule would be the discussion of rifle mounts or ring-mounts so just keep posting the info on facebook bud ;-).
Yes you can. You just need to match up the wires to the correct posts. It's pretty straight forward for example battery Positive cable to Positive post on Alt, exciter wire to field post and ground wire to ground post.
Here is my 1990 M925a2 with a freshly done Behr Marquee in 383 Green. Used just over 2 gallons. I like my trucks solid colored so not planning on redoing the Camo (this way it also matches my M923a2 which was solid 383 Green when purchased from GovLiq).
