    Wet Interior

The windows them self have stop brackets on the frames. Also, front windows that fold out can be adjusted as well. The screw that hold them up to have play in them. I think the bottom latch has play as well. I did all that and had to use some blue rtv in my front window corners.

got the deuce home and found the oil leak

Your investigation has failed. That hole is design only to be pluged when fordging water. Hence the plug thread into it keeper. You more than likely have a rear main seal leak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ-vkMESHXg&feature=youtube_gdata_player

    What is this thing for?

I agree with Clinto. I would like to caution you about some of the other posts. They appear to be humorous in nature and sarcastict. The reference to a flux capacitor is from a fictional movie called "Back to the Future".

    What is wrong today...

My advice make a list of issues you need to repair. Do one thing at a time and don't focus on everything. I felt overwhelmed when I had my first axle leak. Just reminder these trucks where built for the average man to repair. Also, I would go to couple rallies or events and make friends. It's...

A3 Seat Covers: Who was it?

Does not ring a bell to me. You could try tent material. Probably the same color and material type. What I did when I seat ripped was go to a local fabric store and find a similar material. I paid an apostle shop fix it.

    Sad day

I think selling a Deuce at this point in time is a mistake. If you have one you love you should hold on to it. After all the flood gates have closed. The 900 series is flooding the market. Howver, I understand though how interests change and life throws you curve balls. I have considered...

    HMMWV Brush Truck Tragedy

Whats sad is that poor kid lost his life because someone forgot a pressure relief valve. Furthermoore its looks like someone thought they could build a cheap super soaker.

    Weird knocking noise

Question were you able to do the valve adjustment by yourself (one man ) and how long did it take you? I think my valves need adjustment as well. Am I correct in assuming you need to rotate the engine by hand? Thanks
