Well you already boosted the fuel pressure in the fuel rail just by routing the fuel from both directions !! I bet that was a big help to the engine by itself ?? Another simple trick used by the old time Road drivers was to take a dime and drill a hole in it and then remone a fuel return line...
Do you have a screw Knocker ?? It might help you out . It is used with a air hammer has a 3/8 lug like a ratchet so you but your socketon the end and knock it as you turn it !! That might help you out . You can get the Knocker from Browns Tool !! We used them alot here on aircrft to get stuck...
The two pin Connector will work fine all you need is the 1pin to 2 pin adaptor !! they are like $ 35.00 on Egay !! I bought two adaptors !! That way I can jump ot be jumped from either Slave connector .. Either connector is correct, my 1971 M813A1 as the two pin some time in the 1980's i saw...
Ya te AB-15 Antenna base has a 2 piece ceramic isolator at the base, and the base spring is incased in rubber that screws the ceramic insolator together , Then get 1 ea, ms-118, ms-117, and ms-116 antenna sections, also you need the ground strap that goes around the lower section of the base...
You could always look into a V-100 here in the states somewhere or a M3 Halftrack that are still around ?? The shipping costs would be alot lower if you found something here in North America
But and AB-15 Antenna and get the MS-116, MS-117, MS-118 antenna sections and have an overall measurement of 110 " from tip to the base and your CB will work just fine with this military antenna. You can get that antenna setup on EGAY and spend around $ 75.00 for it all. You will need a sugar...
It is because thee is not much slip in the driveline and the shock load from going from Reverse into first causes to much shock to the trasnfer case and as " DH " said POP goes the transfer case. The M939 series and the older M809 trucks both use the Sprag style trenasfer case !!
The BIG thing to remember, is the M939 series truck has a bad problem of cracking the transfer when you put the truck in reverse when in 6 wheel drive !! That is why they put the warning labels on the dashboard !!
You might consider getting a M814 Cargo it has the 20 foot cargo bed so it has the longer frame, if you are in the hills I would NOT recommend the 1400 or 1600 they will use up to much torque to turn them !! You can turn the fuel up some on the NHC 250 Cummins and not be in trouble with EGT...
The ( FDC ) or Fuel Density Compensator is used to caculator the Fuel density (weight) of any given fuel to the weight of Diesel fuel. Such as Gasoline to Diesel fuel or Jet fuels to Diesel fuels . That allows the Multifuel Engine to run different grades and or different types fuel in the engine...
