Looking for a few good jeeps!

You might try Cable Airport in Upland. One of the tennants has a large collection of military vehicles that he rents to TV and Movies. Definately worth a look. & easy enough to fly in and taxi to his location. North West corner of the airport about 500 yards north of the Fuel Pit. Just look for...

    Fabed a Center Console M1009

So I searched for it again and it comes up as a crate for a Sweedish Ventilator. It has a red cross on the box, and the stencil is M7835-202011-1 SUGPUMP EL MT. The surplus store had 2 of them and the color was right. Didnt know it was Sweedish until I got it home and searched. But Im...

    Fabed a Center Console M1009

So wile looking around my local surplus shop, I came across a box that looked like it would fit between the front seats. Brought it home and it fits great. Cut some holes in the top for a hinged access / armrest and a couple of cup holders. The box opens at the front and I plan to seal up a...

    Stereo Install M1009

The remote actually needs line of sight. Its IR. And really its the weekest part of this whole setup. The remote is kind of flimsy, and the battery compartment is not really secure. I can see this part failing quickly. The amp / head unit is fairly well made. Well see how long it lasts.

    Stereo Install M1009

It says 250W, but I doubt that. Still nice enough output. It was available from gooddeals 18 dot com, but actually less expensive from Amazon.

Need help with 09 window crank install

Sliding the regulator over was easier than it looked. There is so much going on in there that its intimidating. But 4 bolts out and it moves right over. The handle is drying from the 2 coats of hammered black krylon, and once dry will head back into the gate. Thanks for the help. BVDL...

Need help with 09 window crank install

I have also heard the stories of shoddy parts, but as long as I have all the pieces, I can modify them to work. If the handle pulls off in a week I can fab up some better ears to hold the tabs. I plan to lube the crap out of the internals, and re do the felt in the channels. Hopefully that...

Need help with 09 window crank install

I have the whole window crank assembly fresh from lmc. Ready to go in the gate. But how do I get to the nuts on the back side of the assembly (inside the gate)? Do I pull the regulator out through the access pannel or is there another way. My window slipped and is currently on the bench in the...
