Tank turret from St. Louis to Central KS

I don't think it would have...it is approx. 3'x4'x2' but I appreciate the offer. MWMULES is going to bring it with him to Glen's in Salina sometime next week and I'm going to go up and meet him there. What is bringing you to Burrton, KS if I may ask?

Tank turret from St. Louis to Central KS

Ok, I bought this in Dec. and the carrier made it to his home in St. Louis before getting his van impounded for back child support. My tank turret is setting in his garage now in St. Louis and I need to get it to Central KS. He is right off I70. If anyone East of St. Louis is headed to Glen's in...

New trailer maker to start production in Ohio.

I guess I'm cheap...the pricing looks outrageous to me, especially when compared to a $500 M101A1 or A2.

    Bought an M151A2 today.

Nice find...looks great. I know they say you can't be jealous and happy at the same time and I'm a pretty happy guy...but I'm still jealous. ;)

    Al's liner came out good...

I think the tan looks good. Kinda pricey material though it seems. I used Rustoleum (about $50 gallon) bed liner, rolled on, then sprayed it OD green. I haven't given it hard use yet, but it seems to be holding up very well.

jgordan1307, very nice work...looking good. Did you use paint mask or stencil board for the markings?

    Exterior Latex/Acrylic House Paints

That is about all I did to my trailer before spraying it and it dried out just fine. Of course, I think that was in June though. Do you know what the temperature was the day you painted? You are in Kansas also and we haven't had very many days about 55 for a while. What I'm saying is that...

    primers and paint

Are you saying you are going to mix primer and paint together or just asking for suggestions on which primer and paint to use?

    Exterior Latex/Acrylic House Paints

Did you do anything in the way of prep work or just spray directly over the Carc? I'm not sure that it matters either way, but I am curious.

    Will a 1008/1028 tailgate fit my M1009?

48cy2a, thank you. I'll start looking for one.

    Will a 1008/1028 tailgate fit my M1009?

I'm probably not ever going to put the topper back on my M1009, unless I want to sell it. That said, I was wondering if I could replace the tailgate with one from a 1008/1028 or civi truck?

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Yesterday I got the front end and cab top primed with a couple of coats of rattle can Rustoleum. It needs a little more sanding in a couple of spots and then another coat of primer, then I'm finally ready to paint!!! Wonder how many calm, 60 degree days we'll have this winter in Kansas. None in...

Holes in both front fenders...what were they for?

    I'd be interested.
