I could not find a thread that showes timing the governor and pump. I took some pictures while replacing a governor that came apart so I hope this helps someone out.

I would think the only way it could leak up that hose is that oil is getting around the oring and you would half to building up pressure inside from a possable vent issue. Nice truck.

You should have done all that before your first bid. Thats the trouble with feebay. People bid and do not want to pay, I have known TY for about 10 years. I moved fire trucks for him and never had a problem but am aware of his history.

Most likley the unloader valve is not shutting the compressor off so it just keeps building air even though the air govener has tryed to shut it off. The vavle gets rust in it from sitting.

A formula motor runs at about 40 psi oil pressure. The block will say big cam on the drivers side and you can tell by the size of the cam followers.

I have put semi boxes on a few with a multi fuel pump. They work great. I have about $700. in them when done.

They are deuces. I hope to find a towing company so they could just pick them up with a wrecker tow them to there yard and I could pick them up on a weekend. I am not sure about running condition, brakes or anything else on them.

I am wondering if anyone knows or has used a towing company near Ft Gorden Ga. I just need to get a couple trucks towed and stored until I can pick them up.

No I get used oil at our shop from trucks that we service regularly so I know what I am getting. I do not have a source for anything else.

When this happens to me I pull the trans out. Remove the pressure plate and flywheel and spray it good with brake clean. Put the flywheel back in and run it about 10 minuts and remove the flywheel again and find out what is leaking. Are you sure the seal you put in does not need a speedy sleave...
