    Spare tire mount options?

Thanks Chucky for the response. The tires will be resting on top of two frame rails that extend back. So, I can build a cradle for the tires or a bolt plate. Pretty much any option is open. Just trying to decide which way to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Spare tire mount options?

Thanks! That looks great. Anyone else tackle this project? I would like a way to mount bicycles and/or a dirt bike at some point as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Spare tire mount options?

I am planning out how to mount 2 spare tires on the back of my rig. At one time I considered having two of the factory hydraulic units welded center to center, but the weight seamed excessive. Right now I am leaning toward a davit crane and two cradles. Any major reason not to use a cradle...

Dash Air Brake Parking/Trailer Manifold Install—Conversion to single unit

Thanks for posting. One strange thing….. my A1 came with the single manifold valve, and it only had 4 connections to it…… no second reservoir “Tee”. All other ports were capped off. Am am curious how that worked out that way differently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CHUCKY'S TREE HOUSE !

Ahhhh…. The post you mention that was not there until after I posted. I started reading the thread, paused, then sent my response. I often wonder how long it would take someone to find me when I work on my truck. Everything is so damn heavy. Thanks for sharing your experience. That will...

I am glad you are alright. Did your cab not kick over before doing the work? I think I have done the same thing, but had the cab all of the way over. Hope you mend quickly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Saw This on a Diesel Heater Forum

I plan on a diesel water heater with in floor radiant heating. I will also have a small radiator with a computer style fan to warm the air if the radiant floor is heating too slow. This setup should be nearly silent when inside. I am a big fan of mostly single fuel, but I will also have a...

    CTIS mystery wires.

Still can’t make sense of these wires. I looked at the wire diagram and can’t decipher if they need to go to ground (my assumption) or maybe power. Anyone have any thoughts. Other wires I have traced out better, but not these for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Door lock adjustments?

Finally got my doors put back together and the door lock on one side doesn’t fully unlock the door on the inside. But, I can still unlock it from the outside. Is this an adjustment issue or maybe my carpeting is catching the lock mechanism? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Military Vehicle Camper Insurance

If you read their site, they say no RV’s. But they also have an article that talks about RV conversions with an LMTV. They said repeatedly that they will not cover an RV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
