RE: agreed
Dang it.... thats what I was going to do too. Tryin to pull out and replace the o-rings without pulling that housing off the mainfold. Fat chance thats going to happen now
Ive been watching this forum for awhile and saw that running unleaded in ur truck is ok. Even says it on the dash as a recommended fuel. So I went to Hattiesberg and picked up my prize.
On the way back, after running a full tank of fresh diesel (truck had been sitting in the lot for over a...
RE: manifold heater O-rings replacement
This nozzle is found on 35's without the winterization kits, correct? This little dude appears to be leaking on my truck as well but stops after the fuel or motor gets warm. Would love to hear who carries the right size o-ring or that any will do...
RE: Tool Display Sheet
Ive seen some of the guys claim that having a $100 1" impact gun from harbor freight is a must. Grab the gladhand mounted air hose from a truck stop and Im thinkin a dude would be good to go for most repairs in the feild.

Crank...
While the GL paper work is a bit of a pain, I just took delivery of a running '71 M35A2. This was my first GL auction BTW. The boys at Shelby were very cool. Took me out to the truck, jump started it and showed me how to bleed the brakes (sort of). I drove it 400miles to my parents...
Gentlemen... stories of my untimely demise were greatly exagerated...
Drove the truck from the TN/MS border up into IL the other night, parents leading with CUCV being towed by me in the 35. Pulled like it wasnt even there. But I have so much more to tell...
I picked up the deuce from Shelby...
Boys, Im going south.
I will be touring through Indiana, Ill, KY, TN, AL and Ole Miss... Im hopin to be able to give Offroadfabworks a little assistance in providing him a with a driver and can rely on his knowledge of the people and systems involved. I'll be picking up 1308 and driving (read...
for chits and giggles what are the actual dimensions? I grabbed a couple of batts from AZone, biggest cca's they had. Would hate to get to the pickup and find theyre too big
