10w30 might be the wrong oil. Idk the mil spec or equivalent but i always run 15w40 in diesels. 25psi when hot is just fine. 0.4hr isnt really much of a run time. These arnt gas engines. They like to be loaded and dont benefit much from a 30min run every month. Break in time is 100hrs.

Dosnt break in oil come in different viscosity. So mabe they ment 15w40 break in?

I wouldnt worry about wet stacking when your power is out. You wont wet stack enough to lower the units performance. Load test it clean when the power comes back on or you notice some signs of wet stacking. But its not something i would worry about durring a power outage. Mabe a smaller...

You cant really judge much by useing a large electric motor for a load. Some times its just to much all at once. Dryer elements and a fan.

To hook it properly into your house you need to hook up 4 wires. Two 120v, neutral to your pannel and ground to your pannel. You use the ground your pannel alreaty has due to you looking the gen ground to the pannel ground.

Since the golf cart is 6v batterys wired in series you could run a disconnect to isolate 4 of them and attch jumper cabes there. A Frankenstein style disconnect dosnt break the bank.

With all that running i doubt your gauge is accurate. Do you have a amp gauge? There a few bucks at harbor freight. There a good tool to have.

Its not a mechanical gauge so make sure you get a sender with it if you go aftermarket. Or at least know the Ohm readings are compatible. I have an aftermarket fuel gauge and used the original sender.

Those LCI water jugs can be had directly from the company for $25 shipped. I use them for water and i can say they are wonderfull. For fuel i cant see spending upwards of $50 for a gas can. If you hate the CARB compliant ones like me just buy the VP racing fuel cans. They sell them in OD...
