Ill wait for the thermometer and then check back with you guys. I pulled the thermostat and double checked it was in correctly before I ordered the water pump, I may just take it out, cold isn't an issue in south texas.
Westfolk-Not the fan or belts, everything is turning with no slipping. No coolant in the oil, no bubbling in the radiator
Vtach- The gauge gets over 200 in about 10 min of driving at full throttle.
no unusual smoke or funny smell from the stack.
Yankee deuce - it has not boiled over since I...
The thermostat is in it now and I could have put it in wrong but I had the same problem before I put it in. The coolant filter is set up as a bypass, I copied it from a thread on here, I think it was cranetrucks, but I got a filter and will go ahead and change it. Is there a way to test the...

That is what mine was doing, it would run fine for about 30min and then would quit shifting, if you let it cool down it would run fine again for a while until it heated back up. It was worn clutches as described above.
Well I got the kit. After looking it over I decided I didn't have the experience or tools and since my M1009 is my daily driver I couldn't afford to have it dead lined for weeks. I took it to an A/C shop and they quoted me $1000 and two days to install. After about a week they call me to tell...
depends on what you are doing it for, if you are doing it for money for college or something to put on a resume the other services have better deals and shorter enlistments. If you are doing it because you truly want to be a Marine then I would suggest you talk to some Marines and have a clear...
