The first thing to do is build up FULL AIR PRESSURE then jack the front wheels off the ground just to make sure the front axle isnt locked in. The rest you can deal with as you get a chance. The parts truck destroyed itself... when the t-case blew apart the whole bottom cracked right...

3 out of 5 m939 trucks i bought have the air lines to the t-case routed to the wrong place. 2 out of the 3 were that way right from the military. 2 of them had the air lines fom the low range shifter linkage valve( the valve that engages awd when you engage low range) going to the t-case...

Mine was doing the same thing. the valve with the roller tip on it mounted to the parking brake lever seemed to be at least part of the problem , i would flip it a bunch of times with my finger and the buzzer would finally stop. Im not sure if there is another sensor sticking further down...

The exploded t-case i saw had the whole bottom of the case by the front driveshaft broken out. Looking at that t-case i would say that is the weak area,so not having the front axle engaged would greatly reduce the odds of breaking it. Reverse high range is low enough to get you out of just...

Spicergear if you go under the truck and look at the valve thats connected to the transfer case linkage,it gets air fron 2 sources.one is the switch on the dash ,the other is full line pressure going into the valve with the wheel on it. Just disconnect and plug the fitting with full line...

I think its the actuator. Im thinking it should bleed off the air from the supply line to the fan clutch. Unfortunatley thinking and knowing are 2 different things. I was hoping somebody had a concrete answer.
