Just when I talk myself into taking the plunge I hear something like this. Is this a common thing after the PS is installed? Is this actually a caster problem, or is this that the PS counteracts the wheels natural inclination to straighten out?
I am actually using aviation headsets, but I doubt it maters if the headsets are military or not when dealing with storage. I am wondering what you guys do to hang your headsets when not in use? Looking for suggestions for the Deuce or M1009. I have been looking at some hard hooks, but am a...
I have one broken just like that at home. It still works though at least on the bench. It was in a batch of used and rebuilt starters I got from GL, so I don't know what happened.
M543A2 when you have repaired damaged shear pin holes in the past what sort of repair do you do? I am guessing reaming it out or going up to the next size bigger.
Will that would be great if you could. So far I found two places on the internet thru ebay that will sell me by the inch. Three inches costing between $70-75 plus shipping. Anything cheaper then that would be great. I can deal with longer, but extra length will most likely end up as chips as...
Hey Jeff,
What I need is like this except bigger in diameter and length. http://cgi.ebay.ca/6-X-1-6061-T651-ALUMINUM-ROUND-ROD-NEW_W0QQitemZ190103072121QQihZ009QQcategoryZ61599QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Maybe I should say 8" daimeter and somewhere around 2.5" to 3" long.
I am looking for a good source of an aluminum 6061-T6 or similar disc. About 8" diameter by about 2-1/2" to 3" long. I am looking to try to make a centrifuge bowl for filtering fuel oils. Unfortunately I have come to the realization that I can't afford the ones out there like the ones made by...
RE: Re: off
I usually find the threads that I want to read by the "Latest Forum Posts" on the main page. It does not happen often, but I have seen some of these "conversations" forum threads push good military info off of it before its time. What about making the "latest forum posts" several...

I have wondered the same thing as raw metal is much cheaper.
OSO that is an interesting point. I have been reading up on this since you posted this, but I am finding so many patents and scientific papers that is slow going. Do you have a link to any of these articles about what you are saying? I wonder how mixing the engine oil with the new ultra low...
I think they are already out there.
California, April 15 - 22, 2007: Military Vehicle Collectors of California's annual Swap Meet and Military Vehicle Show at Tower Park, 14900 W Highway 12, Lodi, CA 95242. Located approximately 5 miles off I-5 west on Highway12.
I know one bio co-op in NC is charging something like $3.50 a gallon for biodiesel. Kind of defeats the purpose of doing WVO when prices are far above the cost regular fuel. This is the problem with a good thing like this gets to too many ears. I am just getting into this, and I am afraid I...
I second that. His HEMTT was amazing to check out. You could probably set up a communications shelter in the back and live in it if you had to sell your house
That is very interesting Darin. I wish I knew of a some good OTR junkyards in my area. I found this interesting comment on the history of the AOM system by Arthur at m35products.com, and D. Doyle.

Wow a SS member thinking of scraping green hardware. Don't you know these things make great lawn decorations  I propose public humiliation to rid Ken of his misguided ways :P
Heavy wear on the seats, pedals, and accelerator pedal are good indications that your odometer may have flipped making your mileage 115000. Maybe you got lucky though. The main thing though is how it was maintained.
This does not really sound like a project for a rookie "volunteer" to do. Lots of nasty chemicals, or hazards with blasting it which can be dangerous if care is not taken. It might end up costing your department if something happens. Sounds like there would be alot of work to do after the...
If is just a M35 then it is probably below the limits of most CDL anyways as the max gross weight of a M35 is about 23000lbs and CDL starts at 24000lbs. There are alot more quirks when dealing with trailers and such though. Lots of Florida guys to ask though. I think I remember a thread on...
Hey Dennis did they give you a deal on the winch at $295? The website lists them at $350. I am planning to place an order for one in the morning, and I just noticed this.
