Yeah the gear is just a temporary thing. Do you happen to know what the size of that socket as if it that big I better make sure I have one with me when I go to pickup.
Can the tow ring be flipped on the M105 trailer to allow for trailer ride angle adjustment? If so what tools are needed to do so? Especially any special tools? Also what is the usual tongue weight for one of these empty? Finally is it easy to remove the front landing gear to reduce tongue...
Nope. From what I understand about making biodiesel if you do it right is is very similar to regular diesel. It would be well filtered, and have little water content. WVO on the other hand is raw veggie cooking oil with all sorts of crap in it and water. It is also acidic. This thread to me...
If I was going to buy a center console I would check out Tuffy. The console I have for the CJ7 is well made. You can buy with a spot for a radio, or maybe a CB. Also you can add extra drink holders on it for the rear. I got mine several years back and they may have some competition now...
Cost me about $3000 to buy it. If it runs well enough to drive home then you just have insurance which cost me $90 for six months, fuel, filters, spare parts, bribe for friend or wife to drive you out there, and AAA RV Plus just incase you get stuck.
I hope these are just the low ball sale...
Multifuel in and fertilizer out. You really can't get more green then that. I agree with you WillWagner that I don't trust GL with these at all. I suspect that these are being sold from where they are which looks like a well maintained stable. These horses definatly deserve a government...
I was just checking around GL and ran across some unique military vehicles that we need a new forum for. They are have traction devices all around, but I am not so sure how they would look in camo. Take a look. Oh no GL titling crap to deal with on these...
Do you really need to seal a diesel fuel tank? I know gas will absorb moisture from the atmosphere, but isn't diesel "oily" enough to protect the interior from rust? The possibly NOS tank I picked up a bit ago had bare steel interior.
Here are some links for the hub conversion sellers.

There are a few more sellers, but that should get you started. You will have to talk to the...
Does anyone make a spacer that converts from 6 lug to 8 lug, and adds the correct spacing for Humvee rims on a M1009. I have found old threads on adding spacers for those rims on M1008s, and recentering humvee rims. I would prefer not to recenter as they don't look right, and if the rear goes...
RE: Impulse Duece
That sounds better then my usual response of "to piss off my neighbors" Maybe it is time to upgrade reasons. JP Magazine is a great magazine. Thier past issue with one of them taking a trip with a awsome looking green out in the desert helped push me into buying one...
Purchasing from GL has been covered many times over. You really need to search the archieves. The only new thing is that the title issue is over as they are issuing again with a $60 fee.
In restoring my CJ7 I purchased a set of stainless steel ones from www.classictube.com. They are very good quality, and went right together. They don't list one for your truck, but they say they can bend a set from the originals.
RE: Re: RE: Gasser
I was wondering as both trucks look fairly good especially with a parts vehicle to draw from. It is the small unseen problems that add up to make it too much trouble to fix though. I was also wondering about two more CUCVs as you had said you wife was not happy about the...
RE: Gasser
Which truck is the parts truck the passenger doorless one or the tailgateless one?
I am interested in the entire passenger rear quarter panel and gas door assembly if it is any good, and you are willing to remove it. My panel got squished by the antenna mount, and rusted when not...
If we are talking about the orange bottle then I thought that that was for cold starts. My deuce was saved from the yankees along with a bunch of others that had seen most recent use with the Mass. National Guard. About half of them had the flame heater mounted above the intake manifold. The...
