Look at picture #3. You can see where the axles went. They are under the chevy blazer he took those axles from. "For fuel economy" my ass. He bought that M35 for the axles, and is now selling it mutilated carcass. I just wonder what he screwed up to fit those axles under there.

I am sorting thru the mislabeled covers I purchased from GL, and it looks like I have a cover from the new 2.5 ton FMTV M1078 with two parts split sides. How well will this work on a M35A2? It looks like the FMTV has flatter bows.

The only gray grease that comes to mind is synthetic modil grease, but it does not really have the same buttery look as the non-synthetic non-disc brake does. I know there are some M7xx owners around there that might pop in to help you.
