I successfully plated my M1101 trailer I won from GL.
Why did you get so many? I only ask because as I learned firsthand, the resale market is kind of flat. I ended up doubling my purchase price selling it (which isn't why I bought it; I really wanted to keep it but ran out of room) but the...
Not sure what you mean by 'they' but no, they will NOT work for the highway. The IR lenses will look like they're off, and the whites will get you a ticket. Use your headlights for the highway, on low beam. If you can't see please visit your optometrist, you might be night blind.
See WebMD...
If they're brighter than stock, they're more than bright enough for the street. There are other people that need to be able to see besides you. If you need more light for off road, get some off road lights please.
Made another trip into the Oly National forest for our tree. Found a good one too. I drove the '09 this time, even brought the tires chains, but the snow melted off. 117,000 miles and still going strong.
That sucks! Sorry to hear you're having so many problems. Definitely talk to the shop owner if the manager or foreman doesn't want to play ball. You shouldn't be paying for their do-overs.
I see some options on CL when searching 6.2 diesel if you want another motor altogether.
Between the expense of the radio and the FCC's $10,000 fine for using it, I have to think it would be cheaper to call on a cell phone and pay the $100 fine for that.
I really don't have anything to say that's worth that much. ;)
For $5 you can get a Christmas tree tag from the NFS, so every year we head up to the forest and cut a very plain looking tree. No tree that was farmed to look like a cone for us, just a small tree with some character.
Since I have over a week of use-or-lose leave saved up I took today...
I started mine.
I haven’t driven it in over a week and it was 28⁰ outside. Cycled the GPs a few times, tap-danced on the throttle, and it fired right off.
A warranty is valueless if you never need it. So will I wear out the aluminum one or should I spend almost double for the warranty one?
Well, nothing is going to happen until after next week with the holiday so I'll noodle it a while more.
Now that you mention it....
A year or so ago I had a small leak in the middle left side of the radiator, near the tank. I was waiting on the three-core aluminum radiator to show "in stock" so to tide me over I ran some dreaded stop-leak. That seems to have stopped the leak, but is not to say...
I hope the OP doesn’t mind if I piggyback on his question, but I suspect my thermostat might need replacing.
Here’s what I'm experiencing:
- Little or no pressure under the cap. After an hour of driving I can take the cap off without getting a coolant shower.
- After a long drive up in the...
My lightbar is a converted Whelen Edge 9000 with the cop strobes removed and HIDs in the reflector cups. It's very bright and does a great job of lighting up the entire area around and in front and sides of the truck, but they take about 30 seconds to warm up. I've considered taking the bar...
I used teflon tape, although I have since heard a reasonable argument against using it- stray bits can get into the IP and make life miserable. I'm not sure why the stuff in the can is better; couldn't it also get into the IP? Anyway, mine is still together and working great, and this thread...
^^^^
I was thinking the same thing. I always assumed it was called a clutch because it was designed to be the weak link in the system- to protect something more expensive and/or more difficult to repair.
