So I finally got around to fixing this little guy up a bit, welded in the 2 ribs I made earlier and built an axle assembly from scratch. Just gotta make the "T" bar for the front then I'm done for now.

I used a bench grinder to remove the shoulder off some budd studs, then put them on. Instant longer studs[emoji12]

If I had it to do over, I would go with one of the inside the rail boxes. But for the steal of a deal I got on my kit, I'm not complaining.

Got the PLS wheels straight from the source yes it's the waterloo kit tires are 395/85r20, and the passenger tire will touch the j pipe if you are turned and stuff the tire.

Took a little figuring out, but with a little wheel well modification, I got it.

MRAP wheels on the back, pls wheels on the front. I had mraps all the way around but after I put power steering on it the tire hit the pitman arm bad. Pls wheels clear with room to spare.

At first I was thinking about inside as well but here it actually does 2 things, 1 easier to get to, 2 helps protect the rear winch controls from getting ripped off if I run a tree down the side.

I mounted mine here using a pintle and 2 shackle mounts, the wife can put it up and take it down by herself by putting the ring on the pintle first, then lift each leg one at a time.

Finally got around to getting the spare mounted. The winch came off a M1076 pls trailer, the bar you turn was about 1.5 ft to long and had a 1.5 in. drive head on the end. I cut the bar to length, drilled and tapped the end for a 1/2 in. bolt(I wanted the 3/4 in. head) then plug welded the bolt...

Just read the TM(thanks for the page number), it's called the jack spacer, it goes on top of the scissor jack and the cupped part is for the lower shock eye to nest in when jacking the trailer. The jack itself doesn't actually mount to it when on the trailer.

Pulled the jerry can holder off (was thinking about mounting a spare to the front) and noticed this. What's it for?

Thanks for the input but I guess I should have clarified, I have a gear pump that I'm going to use and I'm going to "T" into the suction line on the oil pan for the supply and feed into the port indicated in the TM, that way I can maintain oil pressure until the engines oil pump takes over, then...

This is the primer pump the TM calls for.
