Nhc-250 oil priming before 1st start up after rebuild.

I'm ready to start my wrecker after replacing the #2 and #4 pistons and liners, the truck has not run in almost a year. I have read the TM about how to prime the oil system but I don't have the correct pump it calls for so I'm going to use what I do have. Anyway, what I was wondering was, does...

Not bad, especially with the little fuel issue you had on the trails.

5 ton tie rod in place of 2.5 ton?

When I pulled the bent one out at the rally, the tires were toed out, the 5 ton rod went in with the rod ends screwed all the way in, so once the toe is set it will be about the same as the deuce rod. Everything is bigger, that's why I couldn't just swap the rod onto the deuce rod ends. The nsn...

5 ton tie rod in place of 2.5 ton?

At the Ga rally this year I bent the tie rod on some rocks, with some much appreciated help I got it straightened back out enough to get me home. Now, what I want to do is put a 5 ton tie rod in its place, mainly for 2 reasons. 1. They are stronger. 2. I already have several of them laying...

The wife and I made it home, then back to D-town to pick up the deuce and M105 we had to leave behind and back home again with only a minor hiccup with the deuce. The bolts I put in place of the studs i broke on the top of the left knuckle last year, started backing out and the steering kept...

I'm glad you got a pic of the hood lift kit I got from BBQROD. It was a quick and easy install and definitely one of my favorite mods to the truck. I would call it a must have!

Found this little guy out in the woods behind my house, 1943 M3A4!!!

As usual, life has gotten in the way and I have not had the chance to get this thing pull worthy, I have taken it apart and built 2 new ribs for it, just need to weld them on, and still need to figure out what to do for an axle. I'll try to have it done by this years rally but can't promise...
