Just had the same thing happen to our M1009, looked into the doghead mod only to find no starter relay in the truck, it has a push button momentary switch instead, problem ended up being a bad starter solenoid.

We still have not done anything further with it, we just bought a house in Tn. So it will play the part of moving van and then we will at some point attempt to continue the camper build. I will keep everyone updated as the build happens so if nothing new is posted, nothing new has happened.

Wow I'm slacking, I just saw this thread. I'll be bringing the same fiberglass cases I've had for YEARS, I'm really tired of looking at them. Some brand new snatch blocks cookout special of $150. And some other random stuff to fill the truck and trailer.

I kept the mil plug on the trailer, swapped to led bulbs all around and installed the mil female plug into the bumper of my truck. That way I can still pull the trailer with a MV.

Anyone picking up that needs help let me know.

Honestly, we haven't touched it since the GA rally. And the way things usually go I'll probably keep putting off working on it until I realize the next rally is less than a month away, panic, then bust my butt trying to get something done on it

Yeah, well I wasn't expecting it to happen, and I was probably doing 40-45mph when it happened. What's weird is it was so smooth that if I hadn't been looking at the sky or lost directional control I wouldn't know it even happened.
