    deuce filter micron size

I filter when I pull the used oil from it's source via the filter on my pump, I filter the warm WMO through two 10 micron filters and I filter it through the pump again when I blend the "Deuce Juice". It gets one last filtering when it is pumped into the tank. Since the stock filters are 10...

    waste thinner for fuel?

I used to work for a waste recycling firm...they sold reclaimed laquer thinner for a little over a buck a gallon so I bought a 55 gallon drum and mixed it with my usual concoction to run in deuces. Despite claims by my detractors the deuce I ran it in never had any complications from running...

    Detroit 2-71

I know they used the 3 cylinders in the Gama Goat and 4 and 6 cylinders in forklifts. They may have been used in some older pump units or other engineer equipment.....I go all the way back to the 70's in the Army and I don't remember any specific item that used that engine. I do think I...

    The Official m101-series-bed-on-a-pickup-truck pics thread

I have a 60 Travelette (body only) that I was going to use for a 4 door bobber project (now shelved). I was thinking a 101 bed too.....great minds think alike.rofl The body has rust issues but there may be usable parts on it. I hate to send it to the scrapper if someone can use parts...

G'day From Chris - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA

Welcome from the sprawling megalopolis of Sand Rock, AL. Have you considered trying to buy one of the movie trucks.......if they don't destroy them in the process.

    Identify this?

The springs off the trailer would work for a bob job. The bed could be used as a flatbed on a bobber if you were so inclined. If the genny runs it would be worth some cash. Otherwise...scrap.

A lot of military van trailers (expandos, commo vans) had a pintle hitch on the back but they were designed more to pull small cargo or genny trailers than to be used as doubles

Installing axles on a ISO 20' container..?

Buy a bolster trailer......the neck extends out and you can bolt the container to the frame. I have a drop side deuce bed mounted on one and there is plenty of room for the extra lenght of a 20 foot container. They also sit lower to the ground than a regular trailer.

Magnetic Drill vs Regular drill for Bobbing

I use a thin cutting disc in my big angle grinder to cut the heads off the rivets and then punch them out with a BFH. As far as drilling new holes if you don't have a magnetic drill or don't want to rent one you can drill a small pilot hole and then use the correct size drill bit to cut the...
