    welder purchase questions

I have a Lincoln MIG and straight AC stick welder....the stick is old as the hills but still welds as good as ever. I bought a new one a few years ago to replace it with "just in case". It's still in the storage trailer waiting to start work. If you are going to weld once and a while you can...

    deuce 9-20 tires, rims

I sell good used 900x20 mounted tires from 25-45 bucks when I have them.....if they are new (still have the rubber whiskers) I get 50-60 depending on how old they are.

    M796

Bolsters are very versatile....the one in my picture is my second one.....the dropside bed has seen better days but that trailer will haul a load of metal as witnessed in the pic. I had a much nicer one with a regular bed that had bows and canvas on it but it was stolen by a little rat bastage...

Someone tried to steal my truck!

Another good reason to bring back public flogging.

    Does not start

The biggest reason most MV's on a GL lot won't start is because someone leaves the battery switch on resulting in the low air buzzer kicking on and draining the batteries. I have never picked up a truck at Redstone that would not start with a slave off. This second most common malady is low...

    M105A2 price check isle 3

The are selling them in lots of two at Redstone. Six pairs sold for less than $390.00 per pair today...even with the 10% and tax someone got two trailers cheap.

    Early Days of Halftrack Collecting

What we need is a good time machine......go back to the end of WWII with a sack full of silver dollars and buy some prime MV's. Hide them in a good dry cave and sell high today.

    Something hinky on GL today

Well....at least I am not nucking futs. I wonder about stuff like that....especially when it is happening during active auctions. As far as the bid increments I think it depends on how high the bids go...the higher the bid the more you have to bid to be high bidder.

Wreckerman and Elmo available full time

If you can't stand the heat...stay out of the MKT.rofl

    The Dead Rekoning, my M35A2.

Wlecome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy. :cookoo: You are doomed Sir. Looks like a decent truck. What does the liquid smell like......gear oil has a distinct smell.......much stronger than brake fluid. Could be an axle seal.

    Something hinky on GL today

I was watching todays auctions on GL today and when I clicked in on GL Redstone I saw Events that had closed last month. There were three pages showing lots and two of them had the old auctions on them...the other page looked normal. I got on live chat with Heidi and she logged in on my...

If you are going to install a pyro now would be a good time to install the probe.

While I was at Fort Sam Houston.......

I have met a lot of good folks (some of them SS members) while doing recoveries at Redstone....it is indeed a small world.

    Stupid Insurance Agent

AFLACK will have to do without my money since they fired the other "duck voice" for being "politically incorrect".
