Great pics, but your post is missing some details, like...
Is the truck yours now?
Is it still in the guys yard, or has it come to its new home yet?
Did it start and run? (if you haven't tried yet don't forget to do a "first start" video)
This could be the start of a great story! Keep us...
An "Inverter" switches DC over to AC... You're thinking of a "Converter" which converts 24V DC to 12V DC. He wants an inverter.
I didn't know that a CUCV had a 12V power source - very cool and good info - thanks!
Well you guys can use whatever you want to pull a trailer - but unless you've met my cousin clevis I don't really know how you can judge his towing capacity. I just give him some french fried potaters with mustard and he's good to go... no diesel required.
This is a topic that has been reviewed extensively. I think the bottom line is that this site, for which we are charged the princely sum of $0.00 per month to use, is a labor of love. That labor comes when folks have the time to tackle new challenges.
I can't link you directly to the threads...
I think its totally a matter of personal preference and that you should pick the scheme that you think looks best - but I've always been partial to the woodland camo or straight green (in order of preference).
I'm also looking forward to seeing some new camo layouts (digital, etc) on...

Why yes - I believe it was!
I wouldn't refer to it as outrage - I've found that rage doesn't accomplish much. I do however completely agree with your point that the shipping of surplus to locations that consolidate the lots appears to be a complete waste of taxpayer dollars.
On the surface there isn't any reasonable...
As best I can tell, that's not an accurate statement - you are purchasing from the government, GL acts as an agent to that end. While a portion of the proceeds go to GL, it is a percentage of the total sale. The more you pay the more the government gets.
:soapbox:
From a taxpayer:
I personally appreciate anything that maximizes the return on the sale of a government asset. If a buyer sees the purchase price go up by $1000 as a result of the "bid fever" that hits people during those extensions then that is $1000 less in government spending...
Welcome to the site Pinbill... How's the granola out there in Denver?? ;-) :-D
There you go... proof that joking is allowed - and evidence of the effectiveness of emoticons in letting people know you're kidding. We're all salty - evidently the CARC paint makes the owners as rough as the...
If your wife is going to leave you "over your truck" then likely there is a lot more bothering her than the truck. Trucks are trucks, you can get another - my wife is a one-off - I can't imagine not being with her.
