Plain ole power stg oil is 10w with additives to keep it from foaming and wearing. Any parts store, grocery store, walmart etc sell power stg oil usually in pints or quarts.

Sometimes the ports are on the actual hose barb fittings as part of the hose assembly. Are the hoses there? Maybe they were removed during demil?

I would start with the basics. Check every cable on the alt and make sure connections are good at all ends. Reg can be bad but a loose or bad cable internally can be suspect as you Tweak it. My understanding is that is a replacement item. i have not seen anything on one disassembled. I believe...

Un plug it and install a jumper wire New batteries or did you charge the old ones? Load test them each?

I would be amazed if that is not through the belts. I see a patch in your future. Maybe your spare is a better and can swap around after repair.

I would love to see the TM or manual that outlines the demill process. Just crazy stupid since deep water fording components and kits are sold and out there with no problem.......
