I would pull the shutoff cover and make sure the lever springs back to the 7 o'clock position. If its sticky that could be your issue. I was referring to the fuse at the pump there is not another fuse in the system.

I would check to see if you have 24V going to the pump if so you have a pump issue. you should be able to check that at the fuse holder.

Just a thought check the tank venting. Sounds like the fuel tank maybe coming under vacuum.

I have repaired a melted terminal before. I made a sleeve out of a beer can and hose clamped it on. I melted lead in a large spoon poured it in. You may have to use some plumbers putty to seal around the bottom edge. If you have enough of the remaining terminal left to shape the mold this will work.
