Jerhico's and my goat at the recent Weare, NH rally. It was nice to be able to drive and see another goat to compare notes. Both machines were busy transporting people at the rally, trail riding and convoying.

They have what looks like a "push Nut" on the inside, if you pull really hard it will come off, you have to force those metal fingers to bend in the opposite direction.
Finally got to apply the markings to the goat, I tried my best to duplicate the font and location from the original 1970 TM. Also got the wheels painted and put the new tires on.
Insured/registered the goat Friday, took it out for it's first road run today. Got it up to 45, taking it easy first time out, still running on the old tires for now. Started on the button after sitting idle since last July, took about 1 mile to start pumping oil on the transfer, pretty happy...
Purchased a lot of winch parts, parts are new and never mounted but have seen some obvious storage handling. They arrived today but minus two items, the hollow end of the drive shaft and one of the pto handles. Looks like UPS pulled some funny business and re boxed the items. The original box...
Made the 200 mile round trip today to pick up the goat tires at the Fastenal store that arrived from Utah last Friday. Very pleased, 90%+ tread and no rot and no re treads. A good clean and paint of the wheels and they will be ready to go on just in time for Memorial Day activities.
If you are looking for a radio this is the best chance to find one on a table for sale. Lots of mil surplus gear is sold here each year.
